Apple Music Online service issues

Is/has anyone else experience issues with Apple Music connecting and playing via Online Music Service in MBUX? When I ask Mercedes to open she tells me it unavailable. When I try to manually connect it never opens, of if it does, it plays for about 2 minutes then stop.
i prefer to listen to Apple Music via the MBUX service as the sound is better than via CarPlay. I have no issue via CarPlay.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
TIA

I'd suggest verifying it's actually connected if you haven't gone there yet. The way to do that is make a search for an artist, song, whatever, as soon as it starts playing. If the MBUX isn't connected it will just spin until it times out.

Then I tried, as advised, to play something from my library and then hit power button to make system soft reset. Well now it all works except when i go to search, it still says no results. Go figure. I can play anything from my library, playlist, radio, etc and it doesn’t cut off in 20 seconds any longer.
I’ll wait til I get an appointment for the fuel pump recall and have them look at this as well. Not making a separate appointment.
Thanks for all the input and suggestions.

I have both my phone via the hotspot and the car's built in hotspot working and I can get wildly different numbers from them for signal strength and actual download speeds and that's going both ways; using the car for the phone or using the phone for the car. On the other hand, since I got it working I've had no issues with Tidal or Amazon music; I'm on master with Tidal and have whatever the highest tier is with Amazon.
I know that isn't too helpful but I think it's worth knowing that you cant really trust your shown signal bars.. Also that there is hope, people have it working, you should be able to do the same.
That you should have to bother would be fun to talk about because who doesn't like playing a round of "Bash the flawed technology" but, probably not too helpful. lol
