Being told by my dealer that exclusive nappa sienna is not available for a new build slot. Only nappa sienna. Apparently MBUSA came back and said my spec needed to be converted. Anyone being told something similar for a new s580?

The exclusive really ups the ante, it would be a color switch for me, or is it all the exclusive leathers? That did happen back in pandemic days.

Exclusive IMHO is a must. It really makes the interior special. Switch colours if need be.

I believe that a couple of years ago I heard that MB sourced their leather from Ukraine, which could really be a problem these days.
Thanks all, that’s what I was afraid of. I’ve only driven a nappa car and while nice, the added luxury of the headliner, rear parcel ambient lighting and seat back trim were things I was really looking forward to…

If you can find some real information about it, and there is the possibility you could wait out a known timing, it could be worth waiting if you're set on the color. I'd consider a switch otherwise, because it sounds like you may fall in the regret camp if you don't: That place sucks.
