After waiting four months from the order date, my new MB arrived on 6/18. Naturally, it came in while both I and my salesman were out of town and it was 6/22 before I was able to collect it.
I was very pleased, on first viewing, with the Nautical Blue exterior. As a longtime fan of Lunar Blue (I ordered two cars with it over the last ten years), I was skeptical, but it's really nice. The wheels look great, too, so I'm pleased with my selection there. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. I'd already read the owner's manual half a dozen times before taking delivery of the car, so I was prepared to navigate the updated electronics and features. Even so, it took me several days to be 100% comfortable with the car's minutiae.
So far, so good. I'm looking forward to enjoying it for the next few years.
Watch out for dye transfer on the white leather! My wife's new $500.00 black Ralph Lauren leather belt did this on one of our new MB's a few years back, I wasn't happy camper after that...the belt was ***** canned immediately.

Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out for that sort of thing. It’s not actually white (macchiato beige according to MB), but is definitely light-colored and susceptible to unexpected marks. Can’t be too careful; my wife has been alerted. 😃
Because I was curious about the external color paint, I did a partial build process on a 580; couldn't really judge the paint, but ...
Anyway, in the selection of an interior, I was amazed - no, better to say, terrorized - by the forced very costly add-ons MB had to have.
Whatever happened to personalizing choices???

Yeah they have gotten away from that, its frustrating.
Yes, be very aware of any new dark colored clothes that haven't been washed a few times. We passed on a few used W222's awhile back with white seats stained by dark denim blue jeans.
Dealer "that will wipe off" No, it will need to be re-dyed $$$.$$ In a worst case stain scenario, a darker color may need to be chosen for the re-dye.
Congrats on the new ride! Love the macchiato, although I would never buy it. I'm old, I don't like cleaning, and often wear jeans nowadays. But it's sharp, no question.

Thanks! I’ve had it on three cars now and have never had a problem with it. I’m old, too (older than I was, anyway!), and never wear dark jeans. So far, so good with my record of not staining macchiato seats. Famous last words, right? 😎
Beautiful! I love light colored interiors. They do get stained very easily but that can be abated by either treating the seats right as you get them so that any future issue is “on top” of the treatment.
Additionally Leatherique brand cleaners and conditioners are unmatched and a requirement for high end leather. This has always removed clothing dyes and everything else not chemically attached to the seat. It’s a pain to use and very worth it.
As I’m someone that works with soil and sticky substances, I use Leatherique maybe twice a year and the leather remains immaculate, soft, and “oily”.
Wow...I love that interior color... truly exceptional. Exactly the interior color I would want. I had a black interior W222, and a W222 Grey Semi-Aniline Beige+Grey interior....I liked them both but the beige color added some more elegance to the interior. Still loved the dark interior. Next if I ever get another S, it has to be this interior.
Mine was delivered with Pirelli P Zeros. I'd been planning to swap them for my preferred Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, but have been satisfied so far and probably won't be switching.
