S580 issues

I recently acquired a new 2025 S580, but unfortunately, it seems like each year, this car has been progressively deteriorating. Before this one, I had owned a 2021 and a 2024 W223, both of which also had their fair share of issues. The reason I traded in the 2024 was because there was a persistent clicking noise coming from the middle upper dashboard area that Mercedes was unable to diagnose. Fast forward to the 2025, and after just 3000 miles, I’m experiencing the same problem. Whenever I turn right and drive on a slightly uneven road, I hear a clicking sound in the same spot. In addition to this, I’ve also noticed another clicking noise coming from near the passenger seat. Upon opening the hood, I discovered that this noise is emanating from the area where the battery is located, it sounds like a low RPM fan clicking. I can’t help but wonder if I’m the only one experiencing these issues with this particular model.

I love the comfort of the car but i will most likely not buy it again.

That is very strange, there is a forum member here with a 2024 that has absolutely no issues mechanically and enjoying the vehicle, it would be fine that 2024 doesn't have issues but a 2025 model year one does, unless it is lemon.

I don’t think the sample size for 2024-2025s is large enough just yet. It’s not large enough to confirm that later models are much different from early models. As you can tell, there is only a very small amount of users with late models. Some are still reporting issues (but again not a large sample yet to make any conclusions either way).

It is a small sample size, but there is no question there were many more issues reported here in the earlier days. I can also say that some things were fixed while I owned the car, and those things stayed fixed; the hotspot that didn't work in the early cars is an example, the suspension bottoming out is another.

I'm in no way saying the latest model cars don't have issues, just that they appear (to me) to have fewer issues, and some known issues have been solved.
