iPhone charging
My 2021 S580 seems to be very picky about charging my iPhone 14. The only time it will charge is if the iPhone has no case whatsoever. All the cases I have tried prevent S580 wireless charging. Does anybody have any luck with a specific iPhone case?

I'm Android, Mrs Crab however, is Apple. She didn't have much luck with the wireless; Didn't work with any of her cases, other than to get the phone hot while getting almost zero charge. Naked, it would charge, but was still sluggish but modern standards. Slow enough, she gave up on it as a viable option, and plugged in.

No issues either my IPhone 14 Pro Max. There was a software update about a year ago or so for the wireless charging. Maybe you need to get that…….call dealer, give your complaint and they should update the software.

There was actually an OTA update back in February for the wireless charging for iPhone 14 or better. Mine updated 24 Feb 2024.

The only car wireless charger which was truly functional in any of my cars in the past decade was the one in my former Tesla; worked like a charm..... All other wireless chargers in my BMWs or Benz cars and/or loaners never worked well.

Odd, the Mercedes cars in my family all work fine. Perhaps a phone model issue? I keep my old phone in a thick leather case, works well.

I should have clarified that my reference case are the W222 and GLS/X167. I had a W223 loaner in the past, but I didn't test the wireless charger long enough. They all look the same panel though.
