You would think with that tool available more dealerships would attempt a remote diagnosis rather than have you schedule an appointment for diagnosis 3 weeks out and then a subsequent appointment another month out for the actual repair. I can envision all sorts of cost savings. IMHO much more efficient.
I’m not sure what an “ official “ MB dealership is. It displays an MB logo, has an MB dedicated showroom, an
MB service advisor, but not a dedicated service dept. As I recall when I bought my first e class they were a stand alone Mercedes dealer. They merged with another family owned dealership that sold VW’s several years later. The dealer subsequently acquired Kia.
