Parcel Shelf/Rear Deck, pics? structure underneath?

Does anyone have any pictures of the Parcel Shelf removal/install, particularly the structure under it. Trying to figure out how much dead space, if any is under it. On the parcel shelf there seems to be a lot of space to the rear of the sunshade housing.
I tried searching with out a lot of luck.
Or is there a mechanic manual worth buying that covers this?
Thanks!

There's nothing under it, its the ceiling above the trunk.

Are you referring to this drawer?

I have the drawer but dont really mean that. The shelf must tab into some sort of structure to mount and how big is that area.

Really what I am trying to find out is if there is any dead space in the center of the rear shelf. Does the center underside of the shelf really just open up into the trunk( or the slide out shelf if that is installed)?

There is a metal structural panel under there, but thats the trunk below that. No dead space, anything you insert into that space, like a speaker for instance, is going to pop down into the trunk

No problem with this, just trying to figure out if we can position it such that it doesnt require any cutting.
I just learned that minor trimming is on the table.

Finally getting some better interior trunk pictures of this area. I will post them incase they might help some one. I am guessing there is some trunk carpet covering any frame details here, but who knows.
