What Sports/GT cars do owners of S class own?
What sports/GT cars do you own or are contemplating owning?

If you look at Porsche 911 owners or Ferrari Owners, there seems to be a trend to own other daily drivers such as something else from the Porsche family or a Benz/BMW etc. My 2c worth...
1) 1973 MGB 5) 1983 BMW 633 CSI
2) 1981 Mazda RX7 6) 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe
3) 1986 Mazda RX7 7) 2008 Infiniti G37 coupe
4) 1991 Mazda RX7 8) 2018 Porsche Panamera 4S

I totally get it. The 911 may indeed be my last sports car. As time goes on ingress/egress, the hassle of ownership weigh much more on oneself!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

As for the 911 and Ferraris outside of the Lusso and Purosangue types, they aren't really daily drivers or road trip cars, so you need something else. I'm married w/o kids and I've almost exclusively owned 2+2 GT coupes, but the kind you could still daily drive if needed and have enough storage for a longer trip. I use my AMG as an actual grand tourer. For example I travelled around Europe for 2 months after picking it up at the factory. No issues fitting a large and medium checked luggage with room to spare and the rear seats are usable and were still available to have friends, relatives and family members come along. For me, even a sports/GT car needs to be useable, otherwise as said it ends up collecting dust. So I guess it comes down to what one plans to use their sports/GT car for.

Besides, I'd rather spend that GT money on a plane.
Reviews say the driving dynamics isn't up to the level of the sporty design though.
I haven't driven one but unless you're taking it to a track, which most owners never will, I wouldn't think it's terrible to drive.

This is the spec I would get, Nori Green with the tan interior

Alongside the LC500 we have (still do) a Corvette Z06 Convertible. In fact, my bride just took off in it to the gym about 10 min ago with the top down looking all cute. I am blessed (not because of the things, but because of her).
Honestly, though, I still prefer to drive the S. I absolutely love my car!
I also ride a BMW K1600 - sporty, yes! But probably not what you were referring to! lol

The car that fits this question is probably the E46M, which was my 4-seater version of a 997 when the kids were young. But alas they are now old, and the E46M is still as rip roaring fun as ever.
