I realize guys that it is in unsurmountable amounts of bad taste for me to spot my own Olive Green Metallic S in the wild, but since I haven't seen another one this color since I bought mine almost five months ago, it seems like it should make an appearance in this thread.

While filling up at Costco this morning, I saw my first China Blue S580 in the wild. The guy said his wife saw it at the dealer and had to have it. Got to say, after my Olive Green, China Blue is my next favorite color. It had snow white interior. Good looking car!

I had Magic Erase remove the guy from the pic, but it left his feet. LOL

Anyone else see anything in the wild worth posting?

cool color. Let me know what you think of my 2024 S580 and it’s color - Matte Black with 21” rims and red Nappa leather interior.

That's gorgeous! I haven't seen many matte-colored cars here in Atlanta, so this certainly fits the topic of this thread. Have you had any challenges with the matte finish? Cleaning, scratches, etc.?

We almost bought this green car and almost bought this grey car but didn't want to pay what this dealer was asking which was full price, not 1 penny off. We found a 4000 mile Selenite Grey S63 instead 3 mos later for $41k off MSRP so we did the deal in minutes, with a dealer 1700 miles away from us, and never seeing the car in person first. It all worked out. Love your Olive Green pic! So brave, so awesome color.

Both of those cars are good looking for sure. I'm glad you were able to find one in your budget. Them not coming off a penny on an AMG is not surprising. When I bought my E63 back in 2018, my dealership said they don't discount AMG models at all. It's great you found one and pounced when you saw the opportunity.

GORGEOUS, especially with red interior too! I've been tempted to do matte PPF on my black sedan, but don't want to invest 5K on PFF. Have you considered powder coating the wheels in black too?

Enjoy it, it's looks really great!

I know the PPF price varies depending on region and competition and the workmanship largely varies from one installer to another... but where can you get full stealth PPF for 5k??
Mine was $8.5K from a very good installer (no part removal other than badges and hood ornament).

I've done several PPF jobs at my local PPF dealer for so many years, and I see them at least once a year or more for tint and sometimes PPF on my cars given how often i trade, so it's more of a long-term loyal customer pricing. I know they charge others 7-10K on high-end large sedans. For full PPF, last I paid was 4K on the Tesla S with LLUMAR 3rd gen Valor PPF, and was quoted 5K for my 7-series Matte PPF but I didn't do it. No part removal too. I also treat them well when they come to my business, so there is that.

Ah, I see.
I guess they're charging you just for the material then. That'd be nice!

To old school for you guys. When I see a matte black car I wonder what color it is going to be painted.

This gorgeous Magno Silver 580 parked next to me at Publix tonight. The owner painted his calipers red, which I'm usually not a big fan of, but on this car, they look amazing.

What do you guys think?

While not spotted in the wild, this popped into my feed this morning. To be honest, I'd heard of Brabus, but not this customizer, Renegade Design. The carbon fiber door handles look amazing, and the wheels are nice, too. The Alpine Gray is everywhere now, but the exterior color with the red/black interior looks sharp to me.

A custom take on the Mercedes S-Class | Watch

I saw a E450 wagon in Alpine Grey with the blackout chrome and black wheels and it was one of the best looking AT's. Works on some cars but not on others. Sure does on this S-class too.

Always depends on the dealer. We got our W213 E63s Edition1 for 10% off in late 2017 while the car wasn't even available on the west coast and those dealers were paying retail/retail+ for dealer swaps.

This goodwill goes a long way.

Once again, not spotted in the wild, but rather at RBM of Atlanta on their back lot. It's a 2026 S580 with MANUFAKTUR Exclusive Steel Blue Non-Metallic (389). The option clocked in at $9,900 - Geezus! It has Siver Gery/Black interior. The photo doesn't do it justice - VERY pretty color - especially on this beautiful sunny day in Atlanta.

Spotted this 2026 S580 with 008 Manufaktur Exclusive Allanite Green Metallic at $9,900 with A15 Manufaktur Exclusive Sand Beige at $10,500 at my local Mercedes dealership today. A bit darker green than my Olive S. Car stickers at $170,580.

Also, I'm looking forward to the comments on the interior of this 2026 S63 with A16 Manufaktur Exclusive Lime Green - No Charge - also pictured below. It stickered at $225,765.

Wow that vehicle in the second image is a very unique interior spec definitely not for everyone.

Like the green metallic and the beige interior. Do I see a touch of blue in the color? Wouldn't choose the black wheels, though.

The interior green is another story, and not a good one.....

It hurt my eyes (and my heart) when I saw that S63 in Graphite Gray Magno with that interior. I'm certain someone in Atlanta will find it attractive and purchase.

Here's a closeup of the green color - And yes, I can see some perhaps navy-blue undertones in the paint.

I can proudly wear that neon green if someone were to offer a free trade with my ‘25 S580.
Anything closer to that sticker price, no way.
Interesting finds. Thanks for sharing!
