We just purchased a used 2022 S-Class S580 AMG line with less than 22k miles.
I've been wanting an S-Class for several years and when I saw this one decided to pull the trigger. The only feature that I wanted that it's missing is the head up display.
It does have the 4.5 degree rear axle steering, which I really like, but I sure would like to have the 10 degree and will look into upgrading to that.
This is our first Mercedes-Benz so we're getting used to all the MB stuff, like maintenance schedules (and costs), the MBUX system, etc.
We did lose a few features from our previous car, like remote start from the key fob, but we'll learn to live without it.
I'm very impressed with the overall feel of the car and especially the way it drives (after just a couple days with it). The previous car was a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve, which I think felt like it was all loose plastic. In fact, it was driving that Jeep that finally pushed me over the edge to get serious about an S-class.
I thought I was having an issue with the rear view mirror, in that I could barely see out of it. I thought it was constantly dimmed, but after checking this out I find that the anti-glare feature works as it should and the difficulty I'm having is likely just due to the tinting on the rear window. I'll just have to get used to it.
The best part is my wife says she really likes the car too. She says it's very comfortable. She's just getting used to driving it and I expect she'll come up to enjoy it as much as I do very soon.

I currently can't find it but there was a subscription upgrade going from 4.5 to 10 degree offered at some point.Originally Posted by MarkEHansen

Congratulations! This caliber of car really ruins you for all other cars.

Yeah, but it's not the same as via the key fob, and it doesn't work as well anyway. Like I said, it's a feature we'll have to live without, but we'll get used to it.Originally Posted by Munich77

I use it all the time, works great. I remote start it from inside whatever building I am in, way more useful than it being on the fob IMO.Originally Posted by MarkEHansen

I actually have a widget on my Mac desktop where I can just start it from my computer at the office and don't even have to pull out my phone.
