Just thought I would share. I have always thought the center console area of the W223 was too plasticky and cheap looking, both the piano black top piece and the inside underneath the sliding cover. I found this metal garnish on eBay and figured what the hell, it arrived today from China. Its real metal, the finish matches the finish of all the other metal accents in the car perfectly. I think it dresses the area up nicely.

It sticks onto the top with automotive tape. Fits perfect though, really looks OEM. Cupholders are different, but the layout and type is the same in the refresh...materials look to be the same, etc
I ordered one after seeing this post. it arrived a bit faster than expected, and IMO it looks great. my wife doesn't like it as much as it does have a bit of a sharp edge on the interior, but i don't plan on putting my hands in it often so i dont mind.

Funny you mention that, my passenger noticed the somewhat sharp edge and asked me if the car came that way from the factory.
Told him it was an add-on lol
