Got a brand new AMG GT 63

I posted elsewhere, and got lots of great feedback already, but curious about your thoughts since you went through this... But I am kind of at a crossroads now. I already decided that am going to add a fourth weekend/fun car to my garage soon, which is finally ready/complete to host one more. I have already downselected 4 options that must be coupes as they will not be my daily. Have 2 more options on the list but didn't find one yet. AMG GT is not on the final 4 on my list, but I have seriously considered it, but I need a coupe with rear seats for my kid(s) to join as needed sometimes. Last weekend I was negotiating on two ends, one for a new M8 Competition and the other for a slightly more expensive new-gen CPO Bentley Continental GT with couple thousands miles. The 2 other options are still in search mode. Neither dealer settled yet to the numbers I offered and I take my time usually in negotiations even if/when I travel out of state like in this case. I don't see many other options despite that am stretching my budget to higher threshold than normal. The reality I found is that once once cabin quality, comfort, refinement, and overall execution become your top priorities, the list of truly satisfying cars shrinks dramatically especially when adding performance. Yours is a great example of a "complete" ride experience, though am not 100% sure about comfort (never drove it yet). Cars are becoming more complex, interiors are getting cheaper in too many segments, and I feel that at this stage, if you want a genuinely “complete” experience (drivetrain, cabin refinement with no creaks, tech, comfort, presence, all together) you often end up in high-end GT cars like this, or Bentley's territory whether you planned to or not. Cabin experience and comfort are basically my OCD. That’s the one area I refuse to compromise on and in these days there is probably no more than 1-2 car options in the sub-200K that offer that. But this time am adding a coupe so that list shrinks to almost zero or 1. I think you got an excellent ride out there that would have been 100% on my list if I can forget about the rear seat, but I need it.
You are definitely not going to miss the S with a car like this. Having said that, personally I intend to keep my daily sedan when I get a coupe.. Let us know how you will feel on the long-term with a GT coupe like that as a daily.

I’ll take photos of the sage green interior. I like it a lot. It’s very unique and contrasts nicely with the black and aluminum interior.
The tablet screen is noticeably smaller than the one in our S Class. I couldn’t tell from the looking at photos, but it’s like 75% the size, which it had to be because the interior is smaller than the S Class. The S is carnivorous in comparison.
One thing I was worried about was the base Burmester “surround” system, which is the lowest tier Burmester versus the base 3D in the S. I checked off the high-end Burmester on my custom build but I had no choice here. My fears were unfounded because it’s good. After playing around with the settings, boosting the base volume and bass levels and turning off noise compensation, it sounds very similar to my S class both in loudness and clarity. I really enjoyed the Burmester in the S and was afraid of taking a downgrade. Not anymore. It’s great and the smaller interior volume really helps with the soundstage and surround feeling
Here’s the window sticker. I would have never chosen half of these options myself, like the microfiber stuff, but I must say it works. I’m glad it has the front axle lift, an option I desire but consider a luxury. Also, it has a HUD! The first Mercedes of my three so far that has one lol. HUDs should be standard in all trims for all cars.
Finally, the deal on this was too good to pass up. The money factor on 2025 models is heavily subsidized versus the very high 0.003 on the 2026 MYs. It’s still the biggest car payment I’ve ever had but it’s worth it lol. This is the first car in a long time that I park and look back at.
Also, I got prepaid maintenance for free. It was one of the bargaining items. It’s listed at well over $3k on the worksheet. Also got to charge my huge downpayment without a fee and free rubber floor mats.
