So that's your car. Did the S55 come with those badges on the rear when you bought it?
Nevertheless, I'm delighted to know you shaved them off as the cluttered badges look awful.
Awesome car.

Car looks really nice. How does it feel after the engine mods??

Beautiful car! How's the preformance? Any difference?

you can really feel the difference, even w/ ps2's and lsd the car will spin like crazy with esp off. it will stay sideways almost through 3rd gear. the 19's didnt change the comfort of the ride to much. it's so much fun to drive. i wish i knew what a stock 03 s55 would run in the 1/4 mile so i could take out and compare w/ my mods on now

Well,
I'll probably run my stock S55 pretty soon at Moroso. Of course, our numbers really won't be a great comparison at different tracks/drivers/temp..etc...but it would still be interesting to look at the different results.

well it would still be nice to see what other people are running. i ran it once when it was stock and i did 13.0 and trapped @ 106, but that was before i knew about power braking, dyno mode, tire pressure or anything. the track was about 1400ft above sea level as well. so i knew that car could do much better.

I read on the E55 section that power braking to 1200 rpm's seems to work good. Can you fill me in on what the dyno mode is and the best tire pressures for racing with stock wheels on the S55? Maybe I'll get lucky and break into the 12's! Originally Posted by jenk12m

OK...nevermind...I stopped being lazy and did a search on dyno mode.
