Thanks guys. Honestly, before blacking out the car, I was thinking nobody on the forum would like it. I thought it would turn out ricey. Thanks for the reassurance guys Now, I might black out the hood-grille, the chrome trim around the car, and maybe even paint on a rear diffuser. The beauty is that it all comes off. I love this stuff

Can we get some close ups of the grille, and some details on how you did it. I didn't think about doing mine until now. Since the car is already black I could do black wheels too..hmmm....

As for details on how I did the grille: it was the first part I used this stuff on, soI really didn't know what I was doing. I left the grille on the car. I opened the hood and put a LOT of newspaper to protect from overspray. To protect the hood from overspray, cover it too, but don't put the newspaper flush with the edge of the grille. Remember, the plasti dip peels off, so leave about an inch of space between the newspaper and grille. Still, you need to spray alot around the edges of the grille, to make sure that the paint comes off easily from inside the cracks.
Now to painting the actual grille. Again, it was my first time, so I wasn't sure what I was doing. I just sprayed away. I pretty much did 2 heavy coats, until no chrome was showing, and it came out perfect in the end. This stuff is very forgiving. Hope I was helpful; good luck!

Thanks Viet. Thats exactly what I was looking for. I saw a white S63 with it painted, but wasn't sure how it would look on the S55. Thank you.
Any advice on taking the part off the car? Thanks man.

Plasti dip is a spray paint that comes out in a matte finish. It comes in many different colors, and even a glossifier that goes over it to make a glossy finish. The reason alot of people are using the product on cars is because it peels off when you don't want it anymore. It can chip, but many people have it on with no problems. Touch ups are easy, because the material bonds to itself, making it good as new. The more coats, the more durable. I've had my grille and emblems done for about 2 months now, with no problems. ^^ Thanks, I'll try soon. You can buy the cans at home depot, or lowes for $6 per can. Ace hardware and stores like this should have it too, but for around $10 per can. It is hard to find any color except for black. Look up on youtube, videos on how to plasti dip. There are alot of tips out there. Additionally, visit this website, and look at some of their how-to videos: dipyourcar.com Good luck man.

Keep in mind though, this stuff is pretty toxic. Just in case, try to hold your breathe while spraying, or wear a mask, or put a towel over your face. Better to be safe than sorry.

Anyone think plasti dipping the bottom portion of the rear bumper would be cool? Or maybe the middle-bottom portion of the front bumper, like on the new S63's ?
Viet: I tried taking off the hood grille. I am a total noob at this stuff. I opened the hood, played around, and just stopped. I fear breaking something, or not being able to re-install properly. There are just so many hoses and clips.
Btw, those white brakes are sooo nice. Brake dust must be a killer tho :/

Yeah, same exact paint as they sell in home depot, except the website has all the colors, which are hard to find in stores. The shipping costs for the website are really high, because they are shipping hazardous material. Painting the whole car would be a pita to get the paint out of between body panels. But, a matte black S55 would be kind of cool.
I might spray my mirrors, like how you wrapped yours.

My exhausts are so dirty that you can barely see them. I might plasti dip them white, and paint the lower rear bumper black. Peel it off if it doesnt come out nicely
