Yeah, that's more than likely genuine, I'd think someone could score it for $113K, but yeah, they have dropped that much, amazingly good value. Could you imagine buying a new one? OUCH

It's damn good price for what you're getting but if you dont need it right at this moment Id wait til the 07 S65's have been out more than a while, like say fall, by which time these 05-06 W220 S65's should be priced even lower.

Prices are falling fast, Old S-class for someone that can afford that price is not too cool to have..
New body changes do that to a car..
I could have bought a S65 with 6k miles from my local MB dealership for 110k.. (remember I am a wholesale dealer) I passed because the time involved in selling and the rate of daily depreciation they are taking.. Too risky.
Its sad MB waited so late in the W220 body to make the S65 and then put out the W221 the next year.. Thats like a big "F... You!" to everyone who purchased a W220 S65 new.
W220 S classes are dropping very fast at the auctions,,

ExploreThere is a new 06 going for 140K in a dealership near here.
Good price, but I bet it can go lower.

It's not so much the body style change... As a rule of thumb, V12's have twice as many engine parts and twice as much depreciation as their V6 counterparts.
Seriously, most 12's have ~50% three year residual. The W221 S65 will be selling for the same prices this time next year.
