Sorry to hear of the wreck, I'll bet he's an MBer for life now! Hmm, I guess the car didn't look bad at all for getting hit by a dump truck and then rolling! The wheels are nice looking, just different, but I guess that's what you're looking for.

Peronally, I wasn't a big fan of them, but it's kind of cool cause you NEVER see that wheel around.

If you really want to import something from overseas, Work Wheels have some nice selections and they are very good quality.

Also, Auto-Couture makes a number of wheels for MB vehicles and can be ordered through a number of US distributors some of whom are sponsors on this board.

I didn't want to put wheels on my wife's car, but the stock rims were so ugly, I had to. They are very very mild 22's that are not flashy at all when you look at then in real life.

As for the 24's on the G55? I don't know what I was thinking... They are 24 inch Davinci Rims. The G-Wagon looks amazing when it's all clean and it's REALLY flashy. I just barely put the stock wheels back on it yesterday for the winter. I am selling the 24's because it makes the G55 ride WAY to rough..I am into those rims and tires over $10,000 bucks.

I didn't do anything to the E55 and am planning not to.

Nice GL, this is our project GL450 with Iforged 22" evolution's with staggered lips. Plus lowering module to close the fender gap

love2skiutah, Nice ride.
Here's a pretty cool site to look at for wheels.
http://wheelsperformancecom.stores.y...edesbenz2.htmlI've seen two S65 here, one had I'm pretty sure vellano's and the other had maya's. I personally think the maya's were much classier on the S65.
Again, that's just my opinion.

Cant stahd those wheels. but like the ones in the background. I would never swap out the exising 20's for custom 20's....only for 22's

I have 19" Maya STMs on my car during summer and I find the ride rough already. Can't imagine what it would be like if you have 20" or 22"s. Unless you drive on really well paved roads every day, I wouldn't go for anything larger than 20".......

Those are nice L2Ski, but I think they don't have enough meat to fill out a car the size of an S65. HID4I's S65 are the best ones that I've seen, and they're original MB wheels, which I think helps maintain the classic look of that car. IMHO. HID4I's wheels are also on the MB AMG site under accessories for the S65.

get some rims with a lot of surface area on them... putting thin spokes on an s class looks like a football player wearing high heels

Cool Stock or custom wheels?

I agree with Carl. Keep it stock. Or play around with the 2-3 other AMG 20" alloys available on the international website.

"AdamG@Eurolites" alloys do look good in the photo. But please keep it stock.

Lowenharts are realy good wheels, but a little heavy for your car, IMO. Obviously, money is no issue, so get HRE wheels, and have them paint the center Gun MEtal, like the older 65s stock wheels. Do a 22 inch, youll love it.
I can get them for you, Im a dealer for both companies.
