can the S600 push me back in my seat???

Just wondering because i drove a S55amg today and it pushed me back in my seat, but i may get a s600 2003,ive hear its smooth,so will it still push me back in my seat when i accelerate hard, and if i turn my traction control off, would the tires smoke when i really push it hard during acceleration.
THANKS ALOT

If it means anything, it's an 11 second car. It has more torque than the S55, and I would easily say more horsepower as well but I haven't seen back to back dyno charts confirming that.

they're rated with the same amount of horsepower, but it's easier to mod a turbo car than the supercharged car

Keyword rated.
I've read tons of posts discussing that Mercedes has underrated not only the 55 engines, but the 600's as well. :o

If I were in the original posters position, I'd get the S600 (however the AMG exclusivity of the 55 is very alluring) and RENNtech it, or get an S65 (I'm sure you can find a slightly used one for quite cheap, thanks depreciation!) and RENNtech that.

I believe roger has a high 10 second S65...

If my car can push me back in my seat, I doubt you will have such issues in a BiTurbo S Class.

Not an S

I don't have an S600, but do have a SL600 Renntech, and I enjoy everytime I drive it, getting pushed back into the seats.

i test drove a 2003 S600 sport and had a blast..from 25 mph to about 80 mph on the freeway was about as fast as i ever recall accelerating, right up there if not faster than a 2001 996TT. if i drove that daily, i'd have a tough time not doing that at least once per day. heck, even w/ my 349 hp 2001 E55 it's got plenty of torque to scare some of my occasional guests who ride in the car.

THANKS ALOT
I have driven a 2003 S55 and a S600 (both stock) back to back.
The S600 would leave the S55 in the dust.
The S600 pushes you back in your seat way way harder than the S55.

Take it for what it's worth, but I would rather have a S600 TT over a S55 any day of the week.
