I will NOT do that cos most people will think you are a poser, but my personal reason is to be original on the badge. Just my .02cents

You would not be posing. You do have an AMG package. You are not putting anything that would suggest you have a different engine (a side 6.3 badge, kompressor, or biturbo). The AMG in the trunk of an AMG-packaged mercedes is legitimate, and should come standard from the factory.

I think he needs a few AMG badges, a couple on the doors, on hood of the car and superglued to the rims. 6.3 badges sound poser-ish, but personally, I would still stick a few on the interior, maybe stitch them in the seats etc. Bi-turbo badges under the hood should increase output power by a bit.

I remember a saying from an Anthony Hopkins movie; "Never feel sorry for a man who owns a plane". I guess in this case it should be: "Don't bother laughing at a man with the $100K car".

So, it is ok to badge an S600 the "(whatever designer)" limited edition simply because it has a certain color leather inside, and not ok to put a single AMG insignia on a car that has AMG lower effects and dynamic (aka sport) package? Where in the heck is the pose in that?

De-Badge! A clean rear is better anyway.

If it doesn't have an engine from Affalterbach, it's not an AMG!

I have to agree. The "///AMG" logo is all about the engine.

Wait! Here's a thought. Why not badge the S550 "AMG Sport Package" on the back????

S550 has quad exhaust? good point though in order to get his pose on he needs to add S550 AMG bi-turbo.

My car cam with a V16, it was built for the king of Marzipan. I simply removed half the engine as I did not want any trouble wit the re-badge

Why not just spell out the price of the car on the trunklid? Better yet, do that AND leave the window sticker on for all your peeps to see.
