Stainless Steel Brake Line
Wow, I pulled off my wheels for the frist time, only to see that my W220 S55 does not have SS Brake Lines. I'm curious as to why an AMG does not use them? Has anyone changed theirs to SS brake lines? If so, which brand?

I did my 2005 E55. Neal at Euroteck supplied a set of very good Stoptech S/S brake lines for all 4 wheels. I am very happy with their performance and I do take my car on circuit track!

We have some stupid law here in the US that makes stainless brake lines illegal. That is the only reason I know of that they don't come OEM here.

I've installed SS steel lines on my other mbz cars, and I noticed a significant enhanced performance. I am just surprised that AMG does not use them. pas may be right on this issue.

I know that the Goodridge set cost about $103.00 shipped...

I just ordered a set so I can't vouch for them yet.
