Road Rally: Players Run
Ok, Sept 11-17th I'm going to take my Renntech'd S65 on a car race...
It goes from Calgary to Cabo in 5 days.
Can you guys give me any advice for before, during and after the race?
Wear and Tear, Paint, Engine... etc.

although i love lambos
you can be prepared to laugh at them when they are on the side of the road overheating
other than that, i hear having a friend as a trailer just in case you encounter car problems help. Enjoy the drive and be safe. There are gonna be some serious cars driving in speeds of excess 200 mph

good luck, make sure you get your car 3m'd and if they make it for your car get a mesh bra for the bumper and mirrors. doing that run in a benz should be no problem. 180 in the heat plus ac and the lambo guys will be jealous for sure

Looks like fun!! Definitely get the 3M film protection for the important parts of the car (hood, front bumper, front part of the roof, behind the wheels, mirrors, etc.). Or use blue painters tape.

Keep your distance from cars you follow due to their tires throwing rocks and road debris at your front end. The faster you go the more stuff seems to hit that freshly waxed paint and seeing the paint chips suck at fuel stops. 3M front areas wax your car and try to stay in front as much as you can. Can of Fix O Flat, small Portable air compressor, tire plug kit, basic range of tools, if you have no other friends going in other cars meet as many drivers before hand so if something comes up they’ll stop to help. HAVE FUN I WOULD LOVE TO BE GOING.
I just did the South Florida Toys 777 run from Miami to Naples at 152 mph WOW! But fun.
