Almost every car at World Imports is a buy back car with a marked title!! I'll bet if you run a carfax you will see it is a marked car.

It means it was a Mercedes buy back (lemon Law) with a title marked as such. These cars are bought back by Mercedes-Benz, fixed, and sold to dealers. Car retains full warranty but it is very hard to get rid of these cars when you are done with them. You can't get an extended warranty and even Mercedes Benz dealerships won't let you trade them in. My advice it to stay away from them. Now I am not 100% sure this car is a buy back but most cars from that particular dealership are. This is why the car is so cheap.

64' Caddy, LX470, S65..GL..
Called the dealer and here is the deal:
The car doesn't have $8k miles ----TRY 18k miles.
Of course they say that the car is mint and no problems whatsoever.....these cars are reliable and the dealer does sell phantoms and ferrari's etc....
Apolo

No longer car shopping...
No you can NOT. Not the Mercedes ext warranty anyway. You "may" be able to get en extended warranty fomr one of those "fly-by-night" extended companies that are one step above rat droppings. Most of them have either failed or are in forclosure. I wouldn't really call that a VALID warranty. Mercedes will SERVICE these cars under the REGULAR warranty, but will not offer any MB-backed extensions.

There are two cars listed in the original posting from two different dealerships. I don't know anything about the dealership with the car listed with 8K miles but the other car at World Imports USA is most likely a Mercedes Benz buy back. Many of the cars at this dealership are buy backs. I did not do a carfax and I don't know for sure but for this price I'll bet it is. It's too bad because most likely buy back cars are OK it's just the branded title really screws things up when you want to sell it IMHO. Good luck if anyone buys it.

Now these still do have to be pre-authorized, but with a $100 deductible, it should be pretty good...especially coming from Daimler.

This vehicle was purchased by us directly from Mercedes due to "check engine light / engine misfire". Due to this inconvenience for the original owner the vehicle was purchased back by Mercedes, FIXED (by Mercedes) and re-sold by Mercedes and now comes with a Buy Back/Returned to manufacturer notation on the title.
