I know there's different engine, trans, and S65 has LSD i belive, but other than is there any other differences? Do they have same suspension?

There is no LSD in the S65. In terms of running gear, it's all about the engine. The transmission is the older five-speed because the seven-speed can't handle the torque. Suspension differences are minor, mainly to deal with different weight distribtion. The V-12 is heavier and suspension tweaks help minimize the resulting understeer. While neither car handles like a sports car, the S65 is still a bit nose-heavier.Originally Posted by BoBcanada

The engine's massive torque means the five-speed is quite adequate. The engine puts out twice the power at low revs as the 6.2, so fewer gears doesn't mean you're ever off the power band.
The other major difference is interior. The S65 starts as an S600 while the S63 starts as an S550. The leather and appointments are different and all of the S-Class tricks are standard.
yea i know all about trans and engines... but the fact that s63 starts as s550 and s65 as s600 thats new to me... thanks anyway
just wanted to know what else is different!
