My friend just put the stage 1 or 2 on his 07 S600.

What should this car do in the quarter mile, good track prep, stock street tires?

Thanks,
Jason

11.6 - 11.7. Getting off the line is key. Too much torque...

Why don't you run the guy on the street to find out if he is faster? I haven't seen much data on the new body style S600/S65 cars with Renntech mods. The horsepower/torque #'s look similar so they should run similarly to the '03-'06 cars.

if i'm correct, the 07 and newer 600's weigh about 300 pounds more than our cars...i'd say about three tenths worth in the 1/4 mile.

btw...great runs at the drag strip...10.80's in a S!!!

I love that sport housclass....get that thing to the track and find out what it runs stock. With drag radials on a good day mine would run 12.0's and squeeked an 11.97 stock.

got the car back last week from the shop...my intercooler pump was out for so long, it boiled all the coolant from the lower system...it was dry!

here in houston the cold weather is about to show up...first decent cold front and i'm at the track...i've got to best my 11.84 i ran in my stock e55! now that the i/c pump is fixed, i think i have a shot at giving the e a run for the money.

My IC pump went bad as well. Mine was replaced about 6 months ago. Go for it the S600 is awesome at the track and has a much looser torque converter than the E55. I also have owned both cars but my best stock '04 E55 time was 12.14@116. You better have some drag radials to get a decent 60' unless the track is super treated with traction compound.

looser converter is an understatement...it was the first thing i noticed when i drove the car...in the 600 it flashes around 2100-2200. in the 55 it was around 1500!

hrp is a great track and always prepped well with an elevation of 16 feet. i only 60' a 1.81 on the 11.84 pass...but the mph was 118.

gonna run on radials to compare apples to apples...we'll see what happens!

Yeah but the horsepower increased from 493 to 510 . Not too sure that makes that much of a difference but will take what we can get im sure.

any info on chips - Renntech vs Euroelites?
Hello,
does anyone have comparison info on the Renntech vs. Euroelites chips?
Supposedly they should be identical trq adds (~+150), I am leaning towards the Euroelite chip since its $5000 vs. $6800 but wanted to know if anyone had experience with both.
Thanks, Aaron
