02 S55 auto trunk closure
my electronic trunk still opens and close, but just yday it started to open only 1/2 way up.
there's nothing blocking it and i think it's just the hydraulics. any of you guys experience this? thx.

I don't know the exact procedure, but it had to do with the button in the car (on your left in the door). I beleive opening the trunk with it (press again to fully open) and keeping the button pressed in the 'open' direction for 10 seconds will cure it.

i played around w/ the trunk button on the driver door and it worked just as you described. i had used that button last wknd and must have turned it onto the 1/2 open mode.
