You are still using 1/4 mile time as a benchmark... As I said, it is not an accurate benchmark in this case... You can get extremely different results racing off the line vs. from a roll...
And why are you saying that I was discrediting the OP's story... I simply trying to clarify if he was racing the E60 M5 which all of us were assuming at this point... he never said which M5 he beats... and I even congratulated the OP for winning the race... Please read my post carefully before you make any assumptions

I am not doubting that his S55 beats the M5. I just don't see the point in people "diminishing" his victory, given that those two cars are pretty close in performance, with faster 1/4 for the S55, and faster 100-uptop for the M5, I hope we can all agree to that.

I was not using 1/4 as the benchmark, I know how fast the E60 M5 pulls above 100mph. I only stated that 1/4 numbers from dragtimes for reference on how close the modded S55 and stock M5s can be.
I am not doubting that his S55 beats the M5. I just don't see the point in people "diminishing" his victory, given that those two cars are pretty close in performance, with faster 1/4 for the S55, and faster 100-uptop for the M5, I hope we can all agree to that.

Yep... I agree with your statement regarding the performance of the 2 cars...
Driver's skill is definitely a factor when it comes to racing these 2 cars E60 M5 vs. S55.
