How to calculate invoice pricing
Can someone please explain how to calculate the markup on a new S65?
Should one take the MSRP with or without the gas guzzler tax ($3000) to calculate the markup?

IIRC, gas guzzler not incld in calc....roughly 7% gross margin and some 3% in addtl holdbacks....and dealer captures addtl fees and profits w/leases from MBF...
BTW, see edmundsinsideline.com....details on SL65 Blk seem to be leaking out....tweaked old 65 motor (670hp/738lb-ft) and more advcd software for old 5-speed autobox....
Wouldn't be surprised if '09 S/CL65s obtain a few of these motor/gearbox tweaks....and would look into whether these PerfStudios being set-up this yr at major US dealers will finally allow US buyers to spec 65s (and other AMGs) w/030 wheels, perf steering wheels, different interior trims, etc.....w/implics for poss discts on '08 65s....
