S550 wheels painted on my S55 & vredesteins
I got a set of 07 S550 wheels and had them painted grey metallic w/clearcoat and they fit perfectly on my S55. I ordered a set of vredestein tires they are pretty grippy up there with ps2's.

i put a set of these not painted on my n03 s55 and have noticed a rubbing at speed over some large bumps. have you noticed any noises from the rear? thanks

came with stock conti's that i think are a little fat causing the rubbing. the et is 43. 255/ 40 and 275/40 staggered.

Yup you have to go to a lower tire stick with the same diameter as the original ones your car came with. The width should not be an issue I run 275s in the back but as soon as I burn through them I am getting 285s. You can google tire diameter calculator and then use one to select tires. I believe the stock S class diameter is around 26.5 inches.

Rubbing noice
Might be the Air bag over flow valve in rear. Mine will do it from time to time. Sounds like scrbbing when you hit a dip or a bump.
