I did indeed, love the car, I think they worked out the transmission problems considering mine works perfectly.

How do you guys like the BMW X5 4.8 compared to a new Porsche Cayenne Turbo?? I am getting mixed reviews from different people I talk too, but since you guys actually own the BMW, I'm curious to know what you think about it?
btw- "christiaan" ..You're right ..I think i'm leaning more towards the facelifted S65, I really need the backseat and I think once the new S-Class hits the streets it will look even better than the photos!

To give you some insight, BR4 adds 600 pounds aproximately, BR6 wich is a higher level of protection (ak47, m16, etc) adds 1300 pounds.
Drop in performance, 600 pound increase is like having the vehicle with 3, 200 pound people inside, so not really a noticeble drop, alldough, from 0-60 probably lost 1 second.
Yea, BR4 is more for random cajackings, ransom situations etc... I live in central america, so this is pretty common for us..
"iluvmys65amg" i think you would be happy with that! thats my dream sedan by the way! lucky guy....!
by the way, the Turbo Cayenne, cant be compared to the 4.8 X5..... you have to compare the new 4.4 M x5 twin turbo that just came out... thats a better competitor...
The cayenne supposedly is changing styles right now on 2010 right?
(some pics of the "new cayenne concept" and the BR6 armored x5)

go with the S65 for sure. the continentals are nice, love the inside but if you are ever at all in any need of a sedan, then i would go with the s. also you could wait for the next generation to come out but they are looking kinda ugly so far. i dont know, your choice. by the way im glad your carrera gt is black and not silver like most buyers go with. if im not mistaken you live in LA so there is no need to worry about black cars getting dirty where as i live in Utah so everytime it snows with a black car you can see the effects but that is irrevalent. good color choice. probably go with the S. flying spur come through your head?

The Bentley Continental Supersport (CS) is a great car. But as others pointed out, it is a two seater. Bentley lightened the car and has a bunch of nice little unique details throughout. The $275K price tag puts it in the SL65 BS range (slightly used BS are actually much cheaper). The CS is not quite as fast as a CL65/SL65 and nowhere near as fast as an SL65 BS. The SL65 BS has just as detailed interior as the CS and can be easily tuned by RENNtech for even more performance (750hp at the flywheel).

If it were my choice...SL65 BS all the way!
