Mach430-- Is it easier to modify the V12 than the S55 V8?
Why do you think they don't have the 4-place seating package on the s55. Anyone who has it, is it nice? It looks awesome/

Your right the leather interior is alot more luxurious than the other S-classes. It looks amazing. Four Place seating is when the two fron seats and two back seats are powered, and the two back seats are seperated by a center and becomes two seperate seats. Go to www.mbusa.com and click on to build an s-class. When you see the option for it their is a pictures
Heres some info
4-Place Dynamic Multicontour Seating Package with four power seats, each with 3-position memory. The pneumatic adjustments and automatic pulsation of the central lumbar support help reduce lower back fatigue.

The 600 and 55 have the exact same suspension (ABC),AMG did not put any modifications to any other aspect of the suspension since ABC was enough, the 55 has 18" AMG wheels and the 600 has 17" Magnesium/Titanium honeycomb wheels that are much lighter. Compare the technical specs for each given on MBUSA.
The 600 interior comes with every option except for the 4 seat package (which detracts from value since it makes it a 4 seater car) and radar controlled cruise control (which is jerky on highway and dealers suggest not getting it as option.) Only the 600 is completely leather lined, everwhere(dash, ceiling, doors, centerconsole....everything), much more burl trim. Automobile mag compared 600 to Bentley Arnage Red label and 600 won in every aspect and their suprise was that the 600 beat the Bentley in terms of luxury level for interior.
600 beats the 55 in 0-60 by two tenths of a second (check out all the test specs from the car mags). 600 gets much better gas mileage due to the fact that when you aren't pushing the car hard it runs as a 6 cylinder (it imperceptibly shuts down an entire bank of cylinders). The real difference is the liquid turbine smooth nature of the v12.
Also, the new v12's are coming out tuned up to 480 hp.
