In the pic it says S55 AMG. I dont think its a fake because I did see a silver one at the track yesterday that looked just like it and it only had 2 pipes. Maybe its one of the early ones? Like 2001-2002?

Yeah, it's more then likely a 2000-2002. What's wrong with the S55? It just looks like it needs some elbow grease and a bucket of heavy duty car wash and it'd be good to go. Unless it was actually submerged in water, but it doesn't look like it... and lastly, seeing a garage right in front of the S55 makes you wonder why the owner didn't tuck it in for the storm...

IT WAS A SAD SIGHT
My wife and I drove past this s55 several times after the storm. it is still shown on google, but no longer there. see my overhead goggle image. and map attachments. this area had 10-15 ft of water but did not "hold" water above about 3-4 feet. so the S55 took a major blow and then was UP in the driveway so it was clear of the 3-4 foot that setled in for a while. we did look inside of it and it was even worse inside

yeah, my initial thought was to collect a few nonelectrical plastic parts for spares if we could contact the owner of the property... one look at it and that thought died... water intrusion.... especially seawater does horrible damage pretty quick to everything but the painted metal...... the painted metal is a slower death...

1997 C36AMG
just as the w210 e55's
the 2000-2002 model s55 came with teh same engines,
then in 2003 when the new w211 E55 was introduced, that same engine was dropped in the 2003+ S55
so all in all 2000-2002 s55's are N/A with i believe 349
and 2003+ is 469
