S55 Winter wheels/tires
If anyone is interested, just got my 03 S55. Fitted MB original "Almaaz" wheels 18inch (coz of calipers) & Michelin Pilot Alpin tires. Winter/snow handling is phenomenal & the wheels look great.

bobo - could you please clarify what you mean by "phenomenal"?
i live in MA. i'd like to replace the family sedan with an S500 4MATIC. the wife nixed it - she thought it was not powerful enough.
i'm considering a couple starmark preowned '02s, but without 4MATIC i'd expect to have to swap wheels/tires in the wintertime.
"phenomenal" in my book is my Jeep's QuadraTrack AWD system or our Audi's Quattro system.
any advice or guidance much appreciated!
