0-60 in 2.75 seconds????? Is this a stock S65?

A little optimistic, I think for a stock S65. The S55 should do 4.5 seconds on a good day and S65 about 4.3.

Well...not exactly. You have to take account a number of things when you hear a 0-60mph time. First of all, what tires are being used? I have data logged my car with and without drag radials. My vbox verified best times are 3.16s 0-60mph with drag radials and 3.75s with stock wheels and tires. Both runs were at the track, which is probably a stickier track surface than a regular testing facility. Also, I tend to run my car at the track without the spare tire and tools...and I never run with more than a 1/4 tank of gas (gas weighs at least 6lbs per gallon). I am sure others are doing the same thing to optimize their car's performance at the track.

Also, the track allows for about a 1 foot roll out before the ET timer is set off. A vbox or other data logger can factor a 1 foot roll-out as well (many car magazines use a 1 ft roll out for their acceleration figures. Maybe MB's acceleration figures are without the 1 ft roll out.
