Vibration issue with 19 inch wheels
I had a 2003 S 500 and now I have a 2005 S55 and both have wobble on the freeway with my 19 inch wheels, I tried rebalancing and still wobbles. I do have .5 inch spacers on the rears on my S55 so I am thinking about getting hubcentric rings instead but cant get the specs on my 19 inch Giovanna Sabina wheels. Once I know that I can have rings made and try that. Anyone else have wobble issue when they have aftermarket wheels? Anyone know how to get specs on Giovanna wheels? Their support is horrible.

I had 5mm spacers and I couldn't get all the vibrations out. I switched to 10mm hub centric spacers and now it's possible to get rid of the vibration. I have my wheels off the car at least once a month and I have to be real careful how I torque them or I get a vibration at around 50 mph even with the hub centric spacers. You could try torquing your 19's in 3 or 4 steps, if you haven't already, sometimes that's all it takes. (disclaimer: I have a SRT-6)

I had serious wobble on 21s as well previously. Turned out my front right wheel was only at 20psi, it was giving a slow leak and over a period of a month, it went from slight shaking to serious wobbling. Thought I bent a wheel. But turned out it was just a leak...

When I drove with my 19" Carlssons, they had wobble at 60mph any I got rid of it by having Hub Rings for it.
Hub Rings do the trick, but every mm counts!
