I have never driven a W221(new S class) before and the thing feels enormous. My '06 S class is similar in size but doesn't feel nearly as big when driving. The V-12 TT feels strong and I love the new amenities that the W221 offers. Nice car but what a tank. Not sure what I am going to do when it comes time to get a new S class. Like anything I suppose it will grow on me but for now I am glad I have an old W220. Any opinions on this?

Just sounds like unfamiliarity with a new model that will quickly "shrink" around you? I am always surprised at how un-tanklike and nimble my w221 S600 feels and I am not physically large at 5" 7"... partly I think because the V12's power enables one to maneuver the cars weight as if it were smaller. I don't think how big my S600 is.. rather how small an E is... and how microscopic a C is...

Yeah...I've had an E before hence my old signature "Stephen04E55" and agree that it is too small and the C is microscopic. I am not sure my kids would fit in a "C" class back seat. These were impressions after driving the '07 S600 for about 5 minutes....so it would probably "shrink" in time.

I just got my 07 s and im a biiiig dude, 6'6" and 300 + and it feels HUGE to me! I had a sl before, so obviously im used to a smaller car, but im already getting used to it after just 2 days. i was looking at the s or the escalade and the s was LONGER! it drives soooo much better
