Question Smog Test Problems w/S55?

Looking for some suggestions as to the issue. I have 2004 S55 with Kleemann K1 package. Just had the first request for smog test in CA and they tell me the oxygen sensors haven't switched on. I did have it serviced about a month ago at MB, but have driven it about 800 miles since. Any thoughts as to the source of the problem?

Thanks

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
No check engine light

just I/M status not ready for O2 sensors?
Try this portion of the drive cycle readiness protocol
repeat the two steps twice.
1. 02 Sensor Heater Diagnostics (do not interrupt this portion of the test). With the engine warm (greater than 80°C), and the transmission gearshift
lever in Park position, proceed as follows:
- Start engine and increase engine speed to between 2,000 to 2,500 RPM for 2 minutes.
- After the 2 minutes, run engine at idle speed, with no applied load for 6 minutes (Air conditioning OFF, no throttle movements etc).
- After this time period has been obtained proceed to step 2 below.
2. Lambda (02) Sensor Signal (do not interrupt this portion of the test, to be conducted directly after step 1 above has been performed). With engine
temp greater than 80°C, and with transmission gearshift lever in position D:
- Drive vehicle for 3 minutes at 43 mph (70km/h).

Get your own obd2 scanner for 50bucks at harborfreight store so you can read when it is ready and avoid failing twice.

smog test problem

No code that I am aware of yet, nor recent battery change. The car is back at MB for a diagnostic.
