looking to purchase a certified preowned 2008 s63
looking for any advice on what is possible negotiation wise...
currently looking at a 2008 s63 black with savanna/cashmere interior
21k miles
$80k
keyless go, navi, blind spot assist, distronic plus, night view assist, parking guidance, 20" wheels, amg modified active body control
originally wanted to look at this car but was also looking at a used s550 or a new 2010 s550 then got interested in this one... after asking about it... they said it was sold after checking into it... saying someone put a deposit down on it and will come in the morning... after some negotiations on a new s550 we told them we'll think about it.
this morning i get a call saying the s63 is available. i asked what price he can do it for, he tells me it's already $7k down from what it's worth because they've had it for too long.
i figure there's always room for negotiations... but i have no experience with CPO / used cars

Definitely get an S63 over the S550, it's an AMG and quite a bit faster and more fun to drive, plus it looks nicer.
That seems like an OK price, about what it is being CPO. If you really looked around, you may be able to find one with similar mileage in the high 70's, but that one isn't too far out of the ballpark.
