Eurocharged/Jerry tuned my S55...
So Jerry from Eurocharged came into Dallas today and let's just say he is the man when it comes to tuning cars in my book. He takes the extra effort to keep you informed and answer any and all questions you have in depth. He will do whatever it takes to make you happy. I really cant say enough about him.
My car got the 180MM Eurocharged pulley put on last week in preparation for Jerrys tune today. I was so thrilled with the numbers I got from the heartbreaker Mustang Dyno. Numbers are just numbers but the way this thing drives just blows me away. I have had very fast cars but this is my first land yacht that's relatively fast. lol.
Anyways, here are the numbers and full mods are in my sig...
S55-
369hp/483tq with pulley only
436hp/517tq after Jerrys tune

I am a little surprised with your numbers with pulley only, I thought they would be a little higher, but as you said numbers are just that, it is the driving feel that counts.
Two questions: 1) what is mileage on your 03 S55, 2) Cost of pulley and tune.
Thanks.

dyno numbers are just numbers, its more important to look at the gains *margin from baseline*
The dyno he used is a Mustang Dyno and known to read lower than most other dynos so I would say he has a healthy gain. In all honesty dyno numbers don't mean anything until you put the car on the track!
You'll use the dyno to see the gains and not really for true refrence!

I think we are all surprised by the low numbers because a stock engine with a 20% loss should give you 396 BHP. he is reporting 369 BHP with a new pulley. The gains are impressive but the power after the pulley is what confusing everyone.
I am new at this but shouldn't a new pulley(before tune) give you more power than stock?

So no matter what, there are too many factors in play when comparing dyno numbers (correction factor, difference in dyno, location of dyno, etc...) So if any of you are doing any kind of tuning or comparison I would only look at the margin more seriously rather than the specific number.
You have the right to be confused because like i said... all dynos are different! And yes... that is very unfortunate haha

Best and easiest way to show/prove gains is going on the track!

I understand Shango, it would have been great if we had the stock BHP number on this dyno before pulley, to see the gain with new pulley and further gain after tune, having the baseline number is critical before upgrading, I am sure you agree.
Anyway, I trust RAC3ME is happy with his new set up.

I have one year of warranty left on my car, so a little cautious with voiding that, but the simplicity and relatively low cost of this tune is very intriguing.

Hey guys, like I said. Numbers are just numbers. This dyno reads really low. If you want crank numbers for my car add about 12% for this dyno and 18% for drive train loss.
So my crank numbers would be 567hp/672tq
