I agree but that's why our cars are crowned as the highway king! But to be honest when we purchased these cars and were looking to handle like a go-kart we might've just bought a go kart instead.
I never expected my car to turn or pull razor sharp turns on a dime when i bought this boat. It wasn't the purpose of this platform to do any of those, it was designed to do 160mph+ smoothly, quietly, and without any effort.

I never expected the benz to be a true sports car but was hoping I could race it. But racing in one of these things is down right lethal if you have to start performing high speed cuts one right after another. This could have been the ultimate car in my eyes if it had better handling characteristics.

From what I know the TCU doesn't work for me and I'm pretty sure we don't share the same transmission.
Either way, I've already found a solution to fix my issue and hopefully I can get it done in the next 2-3 months!
Thanks bud, I have drag radials and I have a set of wheels sneakneon lent me so we'll see!
The car is not at a 100% yet so I'm going to the track more for dialing in my A/F and cleaning up the power curve on the track for now rather than the time; but, it'll be a good indicator of where I am.

is the s55 tranny different than my s65 tranny? Because they are good for like 850 ft lbs of torque and Speedriven makes a tcu software update as well as an internal tranny strengthening rebuilt that should solve your problems... I haven't done it yet, my trans feels fine to me. Shango, nice mod list by the way. Get to the track and lets get some times on the board! make sure to run drag radials, though, or all that power will go up in smoke! Z

So I originally planned to track my car today! Past two days had been awesome, great weather and around 45 degrees!
So I had Jeremy from OE Tuning all ready to remote track tune my car and I had my technician tag a long with me. Woke up at 6am beautiful day not a cloud in the sky pick up my tech, get to the track at 8am...
Guess what happened? Theyre freaking closed.... What a joke... It was a test and tune booked for only 50 cars all day! They said "We updated the status last night on the website, you should've checked".... What a load of bull... So here it is...
"***We regret to inform you, due to extremely cold track surface temperatures and also the pit area being saturated with rain, we are unable to hold the scheduled race events this weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The next scheduled drag race event is on April 15th, 2011. It is a Mopac Performance Street Legal Race with the first Big O Tires burn out contest for the season. Please understand we do not make these decisions lightly - it is for the SAFETY of racers.
***If you were booked for the April 8th Test & Tune we will automatically book you in for the 22nd of April. Please e-mail the office if you do not want to be booked. Also please be aware - and watch the web site for any updates on racing - we post updates as soon as any decisions are made."
Ridiculous right? So whatever nothing can be done so what we ended up doing was driving for 150miles worth of free way and doing 3rd gear freeway pulls and asking Jeremy to tune the car that way.
Car feels so much smoother and dialed in. So more updates in regards to my car will have to wait till the 22nd!

what, $300 for valve unit? that's cheap...
they retail for $900 ish..if your strut do not have any outside visual leak.. then its internal leak at the valve control body...

Maybe but i'm not sure, then again I'm new here, but from what I've seen so far from previous post it's as if you haven't modded your car you really have no point in posting anything. All the un-modded owners probably don't wanna post cause they haven't done anything with their cars as yet and why should they? It's a beautiful car as it is which is why i'm sure they bought one in the first place. Again i might be wrong but it's just my opinion.

These cars are the best choice IMO for M113K cars. They only weigh ~200lbs more than the W211 but are much nicer and utilitarian. Glad I went for the W220. Not too mention how confused people are when they get pulled by a gigantic s-class.
