There is only one guy to ask about Aftermarket Warranty......Bruce Mendel. Search him on MBWorld and you will find his email address.
He knows all there is to know about aftermarket warranty companies and if they are upstanding or not.
I would never leave it up to the company to tell you how great they are, sponsor or not. Do your due diligence.
Real world experience with problem-free payouts and little to no hassle is worth investing your time.

I assume Bruce is still in business? I inherited a Fidelity warranty with the S600 I bought from a forum member who purchased the car and warranty through Bruce. BEST move ever, it has paid for itself plus and is covering leaking turbo cooling lines and tranny and engine mounts as I type this! Never any hassle as long as you have a good INDY shop that deals regularly with aftermarket warranty companies.

Hi, I bought a 2010 ML350 (around 29K miles) and the original warranty is about to expire in Jul'2014.
I would like to check whether it is worth buying an extended warranty.
Also, what are the good companies in the market.
I expect my car to run around 6K Miles every year and so was thinking if I can buy something like additional 6 years or 75K odometer. Please suggest.

One of my major concerns is about the Fidelity company itself. After viewing this thread, it seems there are more than one Fidelity extended warranty insurance company. I'm trying to decipher which "Fidelity" company is the one most recommended. I've read that the one out of Deerfield FL is not the top-rated one to get. I have heard no comments from Bruce, so maybe he no longer follows this thread, but I'm sure he would know which Fidelity is the legit company. Anyone else have insight about this issue?
