Ran 11.69@123.1 with a 1.99 60' last night

Ran last night at Richmond Dragway and had fun with street tires. The track prep was so so and with street tires it was slick. I was very tenative with the launch too. No burnout around the water box and rolled to the line. This was in total street trim with full weight, spare in trunk, etc. I enjoyed it even though the times weren't spectacular. My 1/8 mile was 7.68@99.2 which I liked the mph for the 1/8.

That is a great run on street tires with a awesome MPH, almost 100 in the 1/8th is quite impressive indeed.

Can you go over what mods that you have?

Great job!

Only mods are Renntech ECU/TCU and BMC air filters.

Awesome ET's and MPH....especially considering you were on street tires . That's gotta be a 11.2x sec pass on DR's? My car ran consistent 11.60's and a prolly a dozen or so 11.5x's at 121-122with stock tune...BUT, that was on MT ET streets. I only ran it once on street tires when I first got it and I don't remember exactly what it ran....I wanna say 12.2x? at 116-117?? All I know is it was a HUGE difference on the ET streets vs the street tires. I know for a fact I gained about 5-7mph with the MT DR's......you should run close to 130mph on DR's....

I'm literally stuck in the DFW airport as we speak due to bad weather.....I'm in route to Missouri to pick up a CPO'd Flint Grey 221 S65 I just bought. I can't wait to get a tune in her and bring her to the track.

Busa, I can't wait to see some pics of your 221 S65! I will be very interested to hear you compare and contrast the 220 vs the 221.

Yeah..and no one to this date even with a 2007 has run an S65 that has shared their information on the web. We need some 1/4 mile times to see if they are similar in performance because my next S class would have to be a W221. I love the size of the W220 and the W221 feels like driving a tank in comparison. I have driven my friend's 2007 S600 and it is stout but hard to gauge without track times.

07 S65
Nice times Stephen. I'm back on the forums now but with an 07 S65. I will have this car to our next local rental so you guys will have at least one time to compare. The car feels pretty good but doesn't feel as quick as my old E55. Let me know the next time you guys are going to the track. As long as it's not 80deg or more I'll be there.

Nice times!

I'm guessing this guy must be a fake when he says he is doing 11,7 @ 126 mph, stock: https://mbworld.org/forums/sl55-amg-...1-7-126-a.html
