2003 S55, 2003 C32, 2001 ML55, 1957 Series 62 Cadillac Convertible
Hiya
I paid sticker. I had leased my previous 2000 S500 and planned to do the same with this car. However, with the interest rates so low, there was only $20/mo difference bewteen lease and buy so I choose to purchase. I say I planned, I should have said "my wife". She is the bean counter.
I am perhaps a little older than many of you and have had many cars. I have learned not to modify cars unless they are specialty automobiles (like race cars for instance). Every time I have started modifying a street car, I would do a little (maybe change the induction and exhaust systems etc) and would be satisfied for a while. Eventually, the car would start to feel ordinary again, so a would do more and more and more and more....finally I would end up with something so wild ( and unreliable) that it was hard to drive on the street.
I plan to use the S55 as a highway cruiser. I do not think I can surpass AMG for reliable consistant horsepower and handling, so I will leave the car as purchased.
