S55 vs. S600
The S600 and S55 have the exact same suspension-- they both have ABC. The S600 is a little heavier though. It all depends on what you want. I prefer the full leather interior, suede-like headliner as well as the extra wood trim in the 600. Some people complain that the interior of the S class feels cheap, but that is not the case in the 600 as it is in the 55. The S55 as far as I can remember felt a little firmer , but I could be wrong.
The S55 also has the AMG kit on, the 600 is just a saloon, 2 single exhaust
though. The first time I drove the 600 it blew me away so I quickly forgot
about the 55. Mind you I asked how much to but the AMG kit on my 600 and
it was around 8 grand, so I left it. I haven't touched a thing, and keep wondering how fast it would be after a re map, somehow though she seems
just perfect, and as John Cleese says in The Holy Grail, Non shall pass.

What's the point of filming a car disappearing into the distance.
As far as suspension goes they all have programmable shocks, and self
leveling, are you sure it's not the springs that are different.
