Just got back from the track, what do yall think?
Finally got a chance to take the S65 to the track yesterday. The wife was behind the wheel and she said the car felt strong. So far the only mods are the drop in K&N Filters and the Eurochargers ECU/TCM tune. The tires where Mickey Thompson Street Tires. The best 60' we had was a 1.6 ( I believe) and we ran a best of 7.28 @ 97 MPH. The track temp was about 67* and the elevation was about 1650. Does this sound about right with regards to ET and Time? Thanks!

Never ceases to amaze me how fast these cars are. I remember back in the 80s/90s it was a thrill to run a mid 11sec pass in a Mustang without leaving parts all over the track, now you can do it in the comfort of your living room style interior with pulsating seats and the A/C cranking.

WOW thanks guys! I guess we aint doing too bad then. She had some good runs but her 7.2 run was after about a 1hr cool down (we had oil on the track so they had to clean up). When she was hot lapping she was still in the 7.4X. here is her 7.40 run vs the same mustang from before.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention at about 1/4 tank we dropped some 110 race fuel to prevent knocking. Just want to make sure I include that too. Tires pressured seemed to do well at 23 psi.

better watch the 110 octane racing fuel as that is LEADED....stick with 100 octane unleaded or 104 unleaded unless you want to replace 02 sensors.
