S63 2008 Snows
I've not had good experience w/ Blizzcraps, they wear like pencil erasers and then turn into 'normal' tires once the outer layer is gone.
I'd focus on Vrated performance snows, nothing H or T or whatever - these are big heavy powerful cars, and spend a lot of winter on dry pavement typically.
I heard rave reviews on Vredestein Wintrak Extreme's, mounted up a set of 245's on 18x8.5s all around - smallest reasonable footprint, and non-staggered so can rotate. This is what is on in my VsigpicV.
They wore quite well, tho I was mindful to take it easy on them for cornering / launches.
We (thankfully) barely got any snow, but I had it out in a few 6" storms and it was quite effective and very controllable. Starting off on inclines is the biggest challenge but once underway it was unflappable.
With a light right foot, 4 snows and all the computer aids I will take on the snow this winter. Thought it better than my SL65.
Hope we have a similar mild winter next year but not founting on it.
