Renntech makes a good pump but a lot of us also use the Mezzire WP136 pump but it takes some bracket modification.

Fitted a new Johnson ic pump, with the extra 100bhp it's incredible, faster
than my CL65 by a long way. It feels like I can take anything on, short
burst going to work with an M5 left him standing.

Faster than a CL65? Wow. What year is your S600 - is it a W221?

It might not seem like it, but some of us have been following your posts with some interest. You say you have an extra 100hp - is that from the re-mapping that you had done?

And then you decided to fit a Johnson CM30 pump afterwards, right? Or were they done at the same time? Can you say how much of a contribution the remap made, and how much from the pump?

I've read several people say how the CM30 made a significant difference by itself, and I'm thinking about going that way myself. I have a 100hp Eurocharge re-map plus the newer Bosch 0392022010 pump, so I might be heading in the same direction.

I decided to get my 600 re mapped as an extra 100 bhp was g/teed. When
I first drove it the acceleration was awsome, but after a very short time the power seemed to eb away and the kick down stopped. The guys asked me
had I had a new charge cooler pump, actually I had 2 years ago, so they advised me to change or upgrade to a better pump. To my amazement
my local MB dealer fitted a Johnson CM30 pump which I had bought, I also
had the g/box oil changed. The drive home was alarming the relentless
acceleration was just aaaawwwwwsssooommmee , I was overtaking other
cars so quickly that I got worried about brake fade, luckily they held out.
Now I can't stop driving it, up til now I have pulled away from, M5, Audi rs6,
TVR , it's Starship Enterprise and probably the quickest thing I have ever had
much quicker than my CL65 which suffered a bit like the 600 at first losing
power quite quickly, perhaps that needed a new pump, but no one suggested it. Well I don't care if the new pump only lasts a year, I'll just get another
because the improvement is mind blowing.
