Dealer discounting S55
I was in my local LI dealer on Sat. for my brother-in-law and saw a black S55 and Tectite CL55 on the floor.
When we started talking about them he said he could work up prices for us.
Well, the discounts on them were around 8%! I was shocked. SL55's you can get at MSRP. He explained that 2004's are already coming in and they had to get rid of the '03's quickly.
If your local dealer has any AMG's in stock, I betcha they are dealing.

I should have had my new S55 03 already but due to the blackout the banking info was delayed so I should have it in a day or two. I made my choice on picking up an 03 now and ending my BMW lease early based on 10K off sticker, so I am getting the car at 102K instead of 112K. If I waited for the 04 he said it would have to be at sticker. Except for the 7 speed trans and a couple of other minor details 03 and 04 will be the same and as I have read this board in helping me make my decision it seems as though all in all everyone is happy with their 03. I did test drive S55 but the dealer asked for me not to push the car too hard. I have the 740 sport and was worried that the S55 would not have the same road feel. Hate the new 7s as to what has brought me to the S55. Can not wait to get it. Has anyone had any major service problems with their 03 S55s?
