Newbie question about s55

I just recently purchased a 2006 MERCEDES S55 AMG about a week a go and I am trying to find a k&n air filter with no luck. The local pep boys has them but it stops at 2005. Are they the same for the 2006? Any help is appreciated.

I looked into K&N filters a lot last year.

IIRC even the W220 and W221 shared the same filters

don't bother. K&N's offer very little if any performance gain and can be detrimental to the health of your engine.

quite frankly, a tune is biggest bang for your buck.

Changing pulley sizes is popular as well.
