2015 S65 AMG
S65 Fuel injectors
i think my misfire is due to a dirty fuel injector, anyone ever changed an injector on a 65 themselves?

it is not that hard. Just a lot of studd has to come off.

did you hook the car up to DAS to see the injector flow rate?

i havent, i got the check engine light and my dad took the car and had the plugs changed, his mechanic also said the coils were in good condition so i assumed it was the fuel injector, i had the car plugged into and a code for a misfire on cylinder 3 came up, i don't know what else could be causing it. i thought about having the dealer take a look but i don't want to get robbed.

not to mention you can clean injectors for far less than replacement. There isn't much to go wrong with an injector that cannot be cleaned.
