Anyone else have belt issues on a M157 engine?

I'm about to drop off my S63 for a third time now and have a new belt put on the engine. This will be the third time in 9K miles they've fixed this. First time they replaced a pulley saying it had a broken rib on it. Second time they opened up a case with AMG on it. Now again, belt is shredded and squealing. This is starting to get annoying. Am I the only one with this issue?

That is strange and you may have a few bad bearings in one of your 5 belt idlers. One idler wobbles and then belt jumps onto a rib of anoither anf brakes the rib. Then tech, thinks that is the issues, when in fact it is another idler culprit.

Hey, did you ever resolve this issue. I have the exact same same issue! Changed the belt four times in the last 4 months. Also replaced tensioner and idler pulley. All oem parts. And it squeaks loud high in rpm when I rev the engine in Neutral. And it also squeaks when then engine reaches almost redline to shift to the next gear at wot.

Did you get this resolved? I have the same issue. I replaced 5 belts in less than 10k. Idlers and OEM tensioner are new, OEM Mercedes belt and the problem still persists. One of the ribs jumps out and then that rib comes off.
