Rear Seat Package

Hey guys I just have a quick question that hopefully someone can chime in on. My search did not yield any results but I was wondering why my 06 S class which has the rear seat package, does not have the ability to adjust the front passenger seat? I saw on a couple of pictures that there are supposed to be 2 arrow buttons on the rear passenger door panel to determine front passenger or rear passenger adjustment. My car does not have this. Did Mercedes delete this option for the 06? Thanks in advance

I think that option was on the S65 and S600

My 06 has the arrows so the rear seat passenger can adjust the front seat on the passengers side. Wonder if someone replaced the control panel some time in the past?

That's what I was thinking too. My rear seat has the heated and cooled option plus lumbar support. The only thing that's missing are those arrows.

To top it off, my 06 doesn't have the sliding vanity mirrors for the front, curb parking side mirror and the compartment for pens in the glovebox. Sigh.. You would think that since it was the last model year for the AMG they would've went all out with these options. Oh well..

Thanks for the response..I guess I have to order a new DCM for the rear passenger plus a new panel.

For what its worth, I don't think I have ever had a rear passenger use the front seat adjust controls. It is a neat feature but just never gets used.

That's a very good point! It is a neat feature like you said but in reality, I don't think it's a necessity. I'll just set aside those funds for maintenance. Thanks for the insight.
